He’s Back. James O’Keefe Blows Open Navigators Like He Did Acorn.

He’s Back. James O’Keefe Blows Open Navigators Like He Did Acorn..

ACORNholio strikes again? How do we protect Information Security, control UNIONS & provide EVIDENCED BASED OUTCOMES?

If you failed to read HR3200 like our illiterate Congress… if you do not know that it was not designed to solve our health care problems but that it is nothing short of outsourcing our jobs and privacy to the international community…

Why did any contract go to ACORN when we have fully capable people with INFORMATION SECURITY and SYSTEMS DESIGN training at each state?

Is this entrapment by having folks commit fraud on their applications?

If we are hiring felons to encourage felonious activity to ensnare folks into prison that is entrapment.

I saw the C-Span hearings, their focus was on prosecuting applicants who lied on their insurance apps.

Don’t tell me ACORN and ACORN International is running the prison system. That would be way too TWILIGHT ZONE for me!

ACORN was only 35,000 members large pre Kartina. Post Katrina, a whopping 450,000 within the first year. Rathke’s brother was in trouble for absconding funds, but that didn’t help New Orleans. Neither did ACORN when they formed ACORN International. Was their New Orleans on their list of priorities? Not so much!

Is AARP and Obamacare the modern Soilent Green?

August 20, 2009

Following is an interview with New York’s former Lt. Governor Betsy McCaughey warning about healthcare rationing planned for elderly (approximately age 60+) on page 425 of the current US House Democrat’s bill: http://tinyurl.com/mcmq6h

Maddow and Obama insist that there was no provision in the proposed bill that suggests end of life counseling. Maddow even referred to it as Living Will preparation. It was actually the next section of the bill (1233). So tell me this, if it wasn’t in there, why did they take it out last Thursday?

AARP supports it! Even though they are speaking out on television that they are not, here is one of their commercials and don’t forget to visit their POLICY site! It is complete with contact names. Give me a break!

BTW, if I suddenly disappear you know why! LOL!

Sebelius to MISSAPPROPRIATE $200 Million Recovery Act Funds

July 28, 2009

News Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tuesday, July 28, 2009

Contact: HRSA Press Office

(301) 443-3376

Secretary Sebelius Makes Recovery Act Funding Available to Expand Health
Professions Training

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius today announced the availability of $200
million to support grants, loans, loan repayment, and scholarships to expand
the training of health care professionals.  The funds are expected to
train approximately 8,000 students and credentialed health professionals by the
end of fiscal year 2010.

Today’s funds are part of the $500 million allotted to HHS’ Health Resources
and Services Administration (HRSA), to address workforce shortages under the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

“Health care reform cannot happen without an adequate supply of
well-trained, well-distributed providers,” said Secretary Sebelius.
“These ARRA funds provide targeted investments in primary care, nursing,
faculty development, and equipment purchases that will shore up the workforce
as we prepare for reform.”

“Our health professions programs have been significantly underfunded these
past few years,” said Mary Wakefield, Ph.D., R.N., administrator of the Health
Resources and Services Administration. “These funds will help us begin to
rebuild the infrastructure that is so essential to producing the number of
skilled health professionals the Nation needs.”

The $200 million will be directed to the following program areas:

  • $80.2 million for scholarships, loans, and loan repayment
awards to students, health professionals, and faculty.  Of those
funds, $39 million will be targeted to nurses and nurse faculty, $40
million to disadvantaged students in a wide range of health professions,
and $1.2 million to health professions faculty from disadvantaged
    backgrounds.
  • $50 million in grants to health professions training
programs.  Funds will be used to purchase equipment needed to expand
programs and improve the quality of training.
  • $47.6 million to support primary care training programs.
These funds will support the training of residents, medical students,
physician assistants, dentists and individuals, many of whom will practice
    in underserved areas.
  • $10.5 million to strengthen the public health
workforce.  Funds will support public health traineeships and
increase the number of individuals trained through preventive medicine and
    dental public health residencies.
  • $10.2 million to increase the diversity of the health
    professions workforce.
  • And $1.5 million to support the efforts of state
professional licensing boards in reducing barrier to telemedicine.

HRSA is using a competitive process to award all funds. Some awards will be
made over the next several months. In addition, funding opportunities for some
programs will be announced over the next several months, giving applicants
adequate time to prepare materials.

The remaining $300 million in ARRA workforce funds is being used to expand HRSA’s
National Health Service Corps, which provides scholarships and loan repayment
for primary care providers who serve in health professional shortage
areas.  In addition, HRSA received $2 billion through ARRA to expand
health care services to low-income and uninsured individuals through its health
center program.

Conservative push is working!

March 7, 2009

Last night, the Obama/Pelosi/Reid $410 billion Omnibus to fund non-defense government spending through September was pulled off the Senate floor. This wasteful monstrosity did not have the 60 votes required for passage. It appears at least 41 Senators object to the massive increase in spending — 8% over last year’s budget – and the larding in of 8,500 earmarks totaling $7.7 billion.

A senior Senate aide told me this morning that many Senators do not want a repeat of the Stimulus battle where their offices were literally shut down with telephone calls and their email was swamped with messages going after the wasteful spending.

You see, they’re talking about Americans like you. When you fight, the politicians get awfully nervous – even on a bill the President, Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid assumed was an easy victory.

While Americans are losing jobs and seeing life savings evaporate this Obama/Pelosi/Reid $410 billion Omnibus funds earmarks like: $2.1 million for a Center for Grape Research in NY $1.7 million for pig odor research in Iowa $951,500 for Sustainable Las Vegas (I’m not making this up) $2 million for “the promotion of astronomy” in Hawaii $200,000 for a tattoo removal program President Obama, after campaigning on a pledge to veto earmarks, now says $7.7 billion for 8,500 earmarks is ok with him.

Sadly, the President cares more about letting his friends in Congress stuff pet projects into an already massive spending bill than keeping his promise to protect the American people from earmarks abuse and waste. Call your two Senators today and tell them to vote NO on the Obama/Pelosi/Reid $410 billion Omnibus that increases spending by another 8% and funds 8,500 pork barrel earmarks at a time when hundreds-of-thousands of Americans are losing their jobs.

The number at the Senate switchboard is 202-224-3121.

The vote will probably happen Monday so please act fast.

But as bad as this Omnibus is with all its earmarks, there is a far more important battle coming that you and I must gear up for now. It’s going to be over the Obama budget for 2009/2010.

In a nutshell the Obama budget Spends more than any budget in American history and admits to a $1.75 trillion deficit. Creates a “Cap and Trade” system that is an ENERGY TAX on Americans. The Obama budget admits this tax will be at least $645 billion in the first 8 years alone. Prices will go up on gasoline for cars, energy to heat and cool your home. Prices will increase on just about every good you buy — from food to consumer goods because of the higher energy costs to grow the food and make the goods. Combined with the Stimulus, the Obama budget brings back the old social welfare system that trapped so many Americans in despair while wasting billions.

There’s so much more but to see the worst aspects of the Obama budget go to our Americans for Prosperity website.

I’m asking you to educate yourself and friends on this Obama budget. It’s going to take an all out effort by us to protect our nation’s future and our economic freedoms by defeating or changing this Obama budget.

In coming days I’ll have more details about the battle ahead and specific ways that you can make a difference. But for now, call your Senator on this $410 billion Omnibus boondoggle And, recruit friends and family to join the NoStimulus.com website by signing the petition there. It’s the best way to make sure they join the fight for freedom! Much lies ahead, you and I need to make sure we keep turning up the heat.

Tim

P.S. At Americans for Prosperity we were honored to help lead a number of the “ Taxpayer Tea Parties ” across the nation last week. Click here for photos and coverage. It was exciting! I’m in Milwaukee for one of our rallies Saturday at 9am and then Tulsa on Monday morning. To attend either event call us at 202-349-5880. Many more events are being planned so stay tuned.

One reason why Barack won the election – Voter Fraud

February 23, 2009

ACORNs Argument:
“Imagine the case of many young urban voters: they work a small business job and live at home with their parents or other family members. All the bills are in someone else’s name, they don’t have a lease and they don’t have a car. How will they prove their identity under this new law? Besides signing their name, of course, which has served us well for years. Does anyone really expect folks to go to the DMV simply for the right to vote? This bill will deny the vote to many of these young voters.

Nevermind the thousands and thousands of repeat voters who won’t realize that the rules have changed. After waiting in a line made slower by the new rules, they will find they need documents they never needed before. Not having them, they will leave and not return out of frustration. Another lost voter. ”

Use this google search term “vote site:acorn.org” to search ACORNs view on voter suppression

You will see this on acorn.org:
“In 1992, Obama ran a successful voter registration drive in Chicago for Project Vote which helped 150,000 people register to vote. At that time, Project Vote had no more connection to ACORN than it did with dozens of other national and local organizations with which it partnered on local registration drives. In 1994, over a year after Obama left Project Vote, ACORN and Project Vote began working much more closely together.”

Here is Obamas own view on the sitiuation:
http://obama.senate.gov/news/050920-sen_obama_oppos/

Below is an ACORN document (5/2005) – it shows that they only made the case for their parties voters. However, the same thing happened to ALL voters but why wouldn’t they give the hole picture?

Now I don’t know about you, but what other country can you go to and vote, let alone without proving you are a citizen?

We have the resources to figure this out. We have the most technologically advanced minds here, so why don’t they find a better solution? Because they don’t want one!

They want to allow this loophole.
